  • 3rd Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest 3rd Annual Pumpkin Contest!Get into the Fall spirit by decorating a pumpkin of your favourite book character.  It is easy and fun for everyone!Let your creativity soar.  Paint it, dress it, accessorize it, but NO carving! (Carved pumpkins rot quickly). Drop off your pumpkin book characters anytime between October 22nd - October 26th. We will display them in our Library and our judges will vote for their favourite pumpkin on October. 29th. Pumpkins can go home on the 30th for Hallowe’en!(Edit post)

  • Terry Fox Run Our annual Terry Fox Run will take place this Thursday, September 27th at 1:30 p.m. Families are welcome to attend and join in. All students are encouraged to bring in a "Toonie for Terry" in support of The Terry Fox Foundation.   • Orange Shirt Day This year our Grade 5 students have started a Spirit and Global Awareness Day(s) committee. One of the first days selected by the committee is Orange Shirt Day. They wish to join other schools in Halton in efforts to bring more awareness to this day. The Halton District School Board is showing their support for Orange Shirt Day this Friday Sept. 28th. Our teachers and staff at Limehouse will be joining in to share in the message that “every child matters”, and remembering those impacted by residential schools. This is an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools, and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for the generations of children to come.The committee ...

  • Information for families who pick up and drop off their children Dear Limehouse families,We are in need of your assistance for the next two days. Due to the construction occurring in front of the school, the lower parking lot will be unavailable for families picking up and dropping off their children for the next two days. If you plan to pick up and drop off your child(ren) today and tomorrow, we would ask you to park in the upper parking lot and/or on the blacktop behind the school when picking up and/or dropping off.   • Information for students who walk to school Dear Limehouse Families,If your child(ren) is walking to and from school, we'd ask that if at all possible that you make arrangements to have them accompanied by an adult as they walk. The construction work will be paused during arrival and dismissal times however receiving adult support while the roads are still under construction, will help with ensuring their safety.   • Student Drop-off for Tuesday September 4th Due to the construction occurring in front of the school, there will be limited parking available for families who wish to drop their child(ren) off on Tuesday morning. If you are planning to park your vehicle, we'd ask that everyone work towards leaving the school by 8:50am so the construction can re-start for 9am.The Town of Halton Hills is aware of our student drop-off and pick-up times and will pause the construction during those times.Once students are dropped off via bus or car, they will be met by an adult and guided towards the black-top area where their teachers will be waiting for them.   • Reporting Absences In September 2018, the HDSB will transition to a new Student Absence Reporting System called SchoolMessenger.  ​This is the system used for reporting student absences and receiving all messages and phone calls from your child's school and the HDSB. In August 2018, families will receive instructions on how to register for SchoolMessenger. All families must register for SchoolMessenger to report student absences online. You can access the SchoolMessenger website by clicking on the Messages and Absences button at the top of our website.
