WEEKLY UPDATE FROM LIMEHOUSE PUBLIC SCHOOL
October 31, 2025
Kindness, Gratitude and a Growth Mindset
Dear Limehouse Families,
Thanks to those who came out for our Halloween Parade! We hope all who celebrate stay safe if they are out trick or treating!
Please remember to keep treats at home.
Go Jays for those excited to see a World Series Win!
Food Safety:
It’s the Halloween season, a time for celebratory events and activities! It’s also a perfect time to raise awareness of food allergy at schools, helping to ensure all students are included in the festivities.
We have students and staff at Limehouse with life-threatening food allergies to:
All Nuts, Mangos, Eggs, Kiwi, Honeydew Melon
and as such we ask families to ensure that there are no nut products included with student lunches and snacks. We further request that no special treats, such as birthday cakes or cupcakes enter the school. Foods prepared in fast food kitchens such as McDonalds or Tim Hortons cannot be guaranteed nut safe so you should consider alternatives or plan to eat with your child outside of the building.
If your child enjoys Wow Butter (peanut free ‘peanut butter’) please include the label every time in your child’s lunch bag so our Lunch Supervisors and Staff know everything is safe.
We love to eat at Limehouse but we source all of our foods from nut free sources and will provide special treats throughout the year.
Photo Retake Day November 5
If you would like your child(ren) to have retakes taken on Wednesday November 5, please fill in this form. We are not automatically retaking everyone’s pictures.
We will also be taking siblings photos so please indicate on the form above if you would like us to take siblings photos for you as well. If you don't wish any retakes or siblings photos there is no need to reply.
