Remembrance Day Assembly Postponed

posted Nov 11, 2019, 7:35 AM by Helen Provost ‎[Staff]‎

Dear Limehouse Families,

We have decided to postpone our Remembrance Day Assembly until tomorrow at 1:20pm. In efforts to continually honour the importance and significance of today, the school will still be participating in a moment of silence and flying the Canadian flag at half mast.

The decision to reschedule the assembly is to allow students the opportunity to fulfill their commitments to the ceremony. They have been rehearsing for weeks in preparation for today and unfortunately many are absent due to tricky road conditions and busses being cancelled. We hope to teach our students that we can still follow through on our commitment towards remembering and showing respect, collectively.  We apologize for any disappointment this causes as we know some families were planning to join our ceremony.

We thank you for understanding,

Signed in appreciation,

G. Echeverria Valentine
