Halloween Parade

posted Oct 28, 2019, 11:57 AM by Helen Provost ‎[Staff]‎

Dear Limehouse Families,

Our school has traditionally offered a Halloween Parade to celebrate the event with the children. We will once again invite students to participate in a parade on Thursday, October 31st, immediately after announcements beginning at 8:45am.

On that day, families are invited to send their children with their costumes for the parade or have their child dress in orange and/or black. Please note your child's participation is completely optional and we will ensure to plan for an alternate activity at your request, if preferred.

If your child is coming to school in their costume we ask that you kindly send a change of clothing so that they can resume their normal school activities once the parade is over. This will help keep their costume intact and prevent tripping/injury during recess play.

Families are invited to take pictures however, we'd ask that you avoid sharing these on social media as we have some parents/guardians that do not approve of having their child's photo on any social media platforms. The parade starts in the hallway and ends in the gym. We anticipate an end time of 9:15am.

We look forward to seeing those that can make it!

Sincerely,

Ms. Echeverria Valentine, Principal
