Dear Limehouse Parents and Guardians, 

Our Dance-A-Thon is next week on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018.  We know that you will support this event with your customary generosity and enthusiasm. 

Why a dance-A-thon?  To raise money for student activities/experiences and for school equipment (like new chromebooks and new volleyballs and basketballs for the gym).   A dance-A-thon also contributes to the physical well-being of our students which in turn will benefit them in their academic life AND IT’S FUN!

The dance-A-thon is complete with decorations, colourful lighting and great music.  Students are reminded to wear clothing they can move around easily in and comfortable shoes to the event.  Students will be participating as per the schedule below.  

Students are asked to get sponsors who are friends, relatives or neighbours whom they know well.  CHILDREN ARE NOT TO GO DOOR-TO-DOOR to obtain sponsors. To save paper, no pledge forms will be sent but one is attached if you would like to use one.  Donations are to be completed through DONATIONS ONLINE or returned to the school by Thursday, November 22nd, 2018.  

Students are invited to make kids-friendly music requests prior to the big event.  Please email all requests to Sue MacFarlane ( and she will send them on to our awesome DJ!

11:50 am –  12:30 pm Kindergarten

1:20 pm – 2:00 pm         Grade 1 and Grade 4/5

2:00 –  2:40pm   Grades 2/3 and Grade 3/4

**All parents are welcome!!!

We will have additional items available for sale at the dance-A-thon. The Snack Shack run by the Spirit Club will have snack items under a dollar that will go to buying Moccasins for children in need.
